Calvin tried agian in his 1983 Mercury Marquis for his Second year. The car died just inside the arena area this time the engine blow a rod and the carbartor stuck wide open small fire and lots of white thick smoke ( that isnt a good sign ) but Calvin did get a good mention and a round of aplause. This time we scraped the car because we weren't trying again and to this day we say its a can opener some where that dosn't work too good, but before we send it away we took several good shots with the sledge hammer and send it on its way.
